Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with its clean and tidy rooms, although I was disturbed by noise at 6 am. The location, right across to and down the harbor with a partial harbor view, was excellent for exploring the town. However, the standard of dining did not match the quality of the rooms.
I have to say, my stay at this hotel had its highs and lows. On one hand, the location couldn't have been better, right by the waterfront and surrounded by fantastic dining options. Yet, the rooms were a bit creepy with their vast open spaces, cramped layout, and drafty windows, even though the bed was huge, considering the location. The service was top-notch with dinners served by a large, friendly, and efficient staff team. The dining experience, especially the silver service with a wide selection of quality food, definitely made up for any room discomfort. The facilities were well-equipped, but there were a few negatives like being low on underwear, which surprised me, given the otherwise luxurious feel of the place.
The hotel had clean and very comfortable rooms, perfect for private dining events, but not up to the soft furnishing standard of other room types. The service was mostly friendly and helpful, with one minor issue. The location was ideal for shopping, sightseeing, and dining, near the city center. The dining experience offered a variety of fresh foods and continental items. The facilities provided were excellent.
The hotel is centrally located, close to Cuba Street and Courtney Place, with nice views of the harbor. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and nice last time, although dated with old-fashioned TV sets. The service was excellent, with super friendly and accommodating staff. The location, while central, could be noisy near the lifts. The dining experience was superb in the Club Lounge, with a wide choice of food. The facilities were well-prepared and an added bonus.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a very nice bathroom with excellent shower facilities, but there was an issue with the air conditioning sounding like a tractor was inside the room. The service was friendly overall, but there were some moments of confusion and scrutiny. The location was superb, right in the CBD and across the road from Te Papa museum. The dining experience was subpar considering the prices. The facilities were on great service levels.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious, well-presented, and clean, but the noise from other rooms was a bit bothersome at times. Having breakfast included in the deal was a nice touch.
I was really impressed with this hotel. The location is fantastic, being near Cuba Street Mall, which allowed me to easily explore Wellington on foot. The rooms were modern and comfortable, though a bit noisy when it was windy. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The dining experience exceeded our expectations with a delicious selection of dishes available. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of having an opening window in my club suite.
The hotel's rooms were very modern and top-notch, equipped with everything you could possibly want. It would be even better in the quieter part of the building. At $185 a night, the room looked just like the photo, had a great view, and an excellent restaurant.
The hotel offers a nice stay with clean and comfortable rooms, efficient service, and a great location near key attractions. However, the pricey dining options and noisy air conditioning are minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The rooms were large, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated, which I loved. However, I was a bit disappointed that my room wasn't ready when I arrived in the afternoon. The service was excellent overall, with staff being pleasant, professional, and very helpful. The hotel's location was great for exploring as it was near many attractions, but I wasn't happy about the high parking fee. The dining experience was average, and I found better value for money options nearby. The facilities offered were good, but the hotel definitely needs some refurbishment.
The hotel is centrally located in Wellington, allowing easy access to restaurants, bars, and museums. The rooms are spacious with separate baths and decent-sized showers. The service throughout my stay was friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed. However, the dining experience, while part of a deal, was not exceptional but still offered value for money.
The hotel offers basic but clean rooms at a reasonable price, though during events, the inflated rates may not be justified. The service is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, especially for accessing key attractions. The dining options are good overall, but some improvements are needed. The facilities meet expectations.
The hotel is centrally located, very close to Cuba Street and Cuba Mall, offering a vibrant and trendy atmosphere. The rooms, though still from the same era as the bathrooms, were clean and the beds comfortable. The service, from check-in to interactions with the restaurant's Maitre d', was professional and friendly. The dining experience exceeded expectations with a wide variety of food choices.
The hotel is in an excellent location in Wellington, close to all central attractions. The rooms are clean, modern, and cozy, with a spacious bathroom for added comfort. The service provided was top-notch, with staff going out of their way to assist and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. While there was a minor issue with locating our reservation, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff made up for it. The dining experience offered a superb variety of food options in a well-serviced Club Lounge. The location is perfect, being near Cuba Street and Cuba Mall, known for their trendy shops, restaurants, and bars.
We decided to book a surprise evening for my husband and me to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary at the hotel. The room on the 5th floor offered good views of the harbor and Te Papa, but the air conditioning unit outside the window was a bit noisy. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, from the doorman to the cleaners and concierge, going out of their way to assist us with our luggage. The location couldn't be beat, with all major attractions within walking distance, and even offered a great view of the New Year's Eve firework display. However, there was an issue with being overcharged at checkout, which was a bit unsettling. Nevertheless, being close to Oriental Bay for morning exercise and Lambton Quay for a picturesque view of Wellington Harbor made the stay memorable.
